Hollywood has all abuzz about this potential new A-List power couple. The two have reportedly been keeping their alleged romance under wraps for more than a If this is so, the seasoned Hollywood A-list veterans would know that it is better to be underground as you build your deep roots, deep friendship and deep bond with one another. Once you come above ground into the spotlight as a power couple in Hollywood, the media will eat you alive, on the daily.

Perhaps, that above ground moment is here. The Jaime-Katie romance might be the first chutes of spring. There are reports that the two are now engaged and set to be married. WOW.

Other reports suggest that Tom Cruise is not jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch about it. Some reports suggest that Tom may have been sending threatening lawsuit letters to stop the new matrimony. If that is true, we could feel his pain. TWITTER HAS IMPROVED NEW FEATURES AWAITS YOU

    Jack Dorsey, co-founder and CEO of Twitter, has revealed that the social network may let go of its 140 character limit without losing “brevity and creativity”. According to Recode, Twitter is working on a feature called “Beyond 140”, to allow users of the platform tweet as long as 10,000 characters. In 2015, the social media platform ensured lifted the limit on its direct messaging feature, allowing users to send messages with as much as 10,000 characters. Responding to reports on the 10,000 words limit, Dorsey was neither here nor there as he said the brevity and creativity would be maintained, while making long texts fit into tweets as text and not picture. In a screengrab of a statement written in iOS notes, Dorsey stated that the 140-character limit on Twitter was only implemented to make tweets fit into SMS messages, adding that changes may be needed to meet user needs.

Anenih To EFCC: How I Shared The N260m Dasuki Gave Me -Tanko Yakassai Got N63 Million

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) believes the cash came from the allegedly misappropriated $2.1 billion arms funds.

It would be recalled that one of the charges against former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Mohammed Sambo Dasuki and a former Director of Finance and Administration this office, Shaibu Salisu, was the transfer of N260million to Anenih.

The charge read: “That you Col. Mohammed Sambo Dasuki whilst being National Security Adviser and Shaibu Salisu, whilst being the Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) on or about 28th November 2014 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, and in such capacities entrusted with dominion over certain properties to wit: the sum of N260million being part of the funds in the account of the ONSA with Skye Bank Plc committed criminal breach of trust in respect of the said property when you transferred same to the bank account of Tony Anenih with First

Bank of Nigeria Plc and you thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 315 of the Penal Code Act, Cap 532, Vol.4, LFN 2004.”

But has Anenih written the EFCC to state, among others, that he gave N63 million to a group coordinated by a former Special Assistant to former President Shehu Shagari (National Assembly Liaison), Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, for the 2015 presidential election.

Yakassai may be invited for interrogation over the “curious” payment, The Nation learnt yesterday.

Anenih was said to have told EFCC that he didn’t benefit from the money, but that he followed instructions on how to share the money.

According to The Nation a highly-placed source in EFCC said: “Chief Tony Anenih has written the EFCC on how he disbursed N260million from ONSA to various groups including a team being coordinated by Tanko Yakassai.

“Anenih specifically indicated in the letter that N63million was given to Yakassai’s group. He mentioned a few others whose identities we will not disclose until our investigation has reached an appreciable stage.

“We will unveil the names of all the beneficiaries of the N260million soon. But we are at a level that we need to invite Yakassai to shed more light on why his group was allocated N63million arms funds.”

The source also added: “Besides the letter, we will invite Anenih to make a Statement on Oath and for interrogation.”

It would also be recalled that shortly before Olisa Metuh, PDP spokesperson was arrested, the EFCC claimed that a company traced to Metuh, Destra Investment Limited had remitted about N21,776,000 on 4 December 2014 to an account allegedly belonging to a former Minister of Works, Chief Tony Anenih and N31.5million to his media aide.

Ibrahim Abubakar, Nigeria Football Federation, head of protocol was shot dead at his residence in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital Wednesday morning.

Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers early today, NFF said on its official Twitter account.

According to Muslim rites, his remains is being transported to Kaduna for burial.

“NFF’s Head of Protocol Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of today,” the tweet read.

“Abubakar’s remains is being taken to Kaduna for burial."

Femi Adesina involved in Arms Deal "Another gbege

Femi Adesina.                                                                  Chairman and editor-in-chief of Thisday newspaper, Nduka Obaigbena, on Monday revealed the Nigerian Guild of Editors collected N50 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser, in a further widening of the arms purchase scandal.

Special adviser to President Muhamamdu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, [pictured above] was the President of Nigerian guild of editors at the time.

Mr. Obaigbena, who is also The president of Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria, NPA, stated this in a letter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, dated December 30, 2015, obtained by Elombah.com.

The EFCC had last December invited the NPAN president in connection with the ongoing probe into the $2.1 billion arms procurement fund allegedly misappropriated by the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

Mr. Dasuki, alongside some top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party, and other former senior officials are currently being investigated for allegedly receiving the arms fund.
