THE INDESPENSABLE MOSES

The former Spurs attacker has good words for the Italian gaffer while highlighting the Nigerian’s rise to prominence

Garth Crooks has hailed Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s transformation of Victor Moses as ‘unique’ following his awe-inspiring performances in their record-breaking winning run.

The Blues are undefeated in 11 English Premier League games and the 26-year-old has been a revelation in the current setup at the Stamford Bridge, turning heads with his showings each matchday, in a right wing-back role.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star has credited Conte for his guts to transform the serial loanee into a main cog in his team.
"He [Conte] has done something that is quite unique," Crooks told BBC Sport.

"No other English coach, outside of possibly Terry Venables, would have found a position in a team like Chelsea for Victor Moses.
“He has transformed their entire back five. They've become almost impregnable. Who would have thought it? This is a player who has been wandering from club to club for the last three years.

"Conte has seen him and turned an exciting winger into a credible player who can defend and attack in equal measure."
The Nigeria international has played 16 times and scored thrice for the Blues this season and will be hoping to help stretch the Blues winning run when they face Bournemouth in a Boxing Day league encounter.
